For external corrosion protection, there are three main effective methods. Three-layer PE coating is a high-performance comprehensive corrosion protection method. It consists of three layers: epoxy powder, adhesive, and polyethylene. It effectively resists erosion from various factors such as soil, moisture, microorganisms, and chemicals, providing long-term and reliable protection for the pile body. It is widely used in engineering scenarios with high corrosion protection requirements. Epoxy coal tar coating offers high cost-effectiveness. It has good adhesion and water resistance, is suitable for general buried pipelines, and can prevent corrosion to a certain extent, meeting the corrosion protection needs of conventional projects. Fiberglass corrosion protection is specifically designed for highly corrosive environments, such as chemical and marine areas. Its excellent resistance to corrosion from acids, alkalis, salts, and other chemical media ensures that the pile body can still work stably under harsh conditions.

For internal corrosion protection, cement mortar lining is commonly used in drinking water pipelines. It is not only environmentally friendly and non-toxic, but also forms a dense protective layer on the inner wall of the pipeline, providing excellent corrosion protection. Epoxy coating lining, on the other hand, can resist the erosion of various chemical media, ensuring the safe use of pipelines in the chemical industry.

How to maintain it on a daily basis?

In addition, the maintenance of helical PC piles should not be neglected. Regular and thorough inspections of the pipe body and connections are necessary, with timely cleaning of dirt to prevent corrosion caused by accumulated dirt. At the same time, overloading should be strictly avoided to prevent damage to the pile body due to excessive stress. Unused helical PC piles should be stored in a clean, dry, and well-drained area, and should be neatly stacked and categorized to prevent mixing and contact between different materials that could lead to corrosion, thus ensuring their stable performance.
